New Pets

Christmas is over, and the Lazo family is going to keep their tree up for Three Kings Day on January 8.

The family has decided something very important. They have 4 pets - one old cat, Ricky, one beagle, Jake, one German sheperd, Sambina, and one parrot, Lucas. But next month, the Lazos will adopt two black female kittens. The children have vowed to take good care of the kittens. The kittens will have to be black because Ricky is a black cat, and he will most likely accept them more if they're his color. They will also need another litter box for them.

Do you want us to post photos of the pets?

Google's Santa Tracker

Welcome to the online version of the Lazo News! You can now look at sections of the latest (or oldest) feed of the newspaper right on your computer!

It's Christmas Eve, and the Lazo family is ready to go!

Q: Do you know if there's any way to find out when Santa is coming to my house?

A: Ooh, smart one here! Luckily, Google has an answer. www.google.com/santatracker is a cool site where you can text Santa Claus, see a sneak peek of what his workshop looks like, and even check where Santa is right now, plus see how many presents he can deliver in five seconds! It's all you need to find out when exactly Santa Claus is coming to your state!

UPDATE:
Look outside your windows, everyone! The Lazo family did, and they noticed something happening outside their house in Maryland : it was snowing! In fact, it's still snowing right now!

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and warm winter wishes to everyone out there!

What the Lazo family is doing for Christmas

Welcome to the online version of the Lazo News! You can now look at sections of the latest (or oldest) feed of the newspaper right on your computer!

Q: What is the Lazo family doing for Christmas, and where are they going?

A: Well, the Lazo family is going to their grandparents' house in Frederick, Maryland, on Christmas Eve. They will continue their family tradition there. They will play with toys, watch Christmas movies, bake cookies, and more as they wait for the clock's strike of 12:00 a.m. which signals the start of a new day. And in this case, that's Christmas Day. So the impatient children will finally rip open their presents and play with them for another two hours. Then they will go home, get some rest, and wake up (it'll still be Christmas) to  find more presents to unwrap, and those will be from Santa and their parents. You could almost die of excitement!
